The present invention relates to a method for inspecting an electronically controlled injection device for inspecting a fuel into a cylinder of an internal combustion engine and a large diesel engine. The present invention provides a method for inspecting an electronically controlled injection device (7) for inspecting a fuel into an internal combustion engine (1) having a common rail system (2) having a pressure storing unit (6) to transfer the fuel to a cylinder (3) and a piston (4) for reciprocating in the cylinder (3) and, specifically, into the cylinder (3) of a large diesel engine. The method thereof additionally includes: a) a transfer step of starting a test injection command (TF) after ignition of the fuel is started in the cylinder (3) and measuring the fuel to correspond to a predetermined test amount of the fuel to be injected, wherein the transfer step is a step of transmitting the test injection command (TF) to an injection device (7) generating the injection of the fuel into the cylinder (3) while the internal combustion engine (1) is operating; and b) a step of including a test cycle having a step of determining a pressure response of a pressure storage unit (6) and comparing the pressure response and a reference signal to estimate a condition of the injection device (7). Also, the present invention provides the large diesel engine having the control device formed to perform the method and, specifically, a large two-stroke diesel engine.
