The present invention relates to a supported photocatalyst for hydrogen production, which comprises a metal catalyst supported in a graphene carrier, and a method for preparing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a supported photocatalsyt comprising: a photocatalyst for hydrogen production comprising a first conjugate compound with a central metal and at least one bidentate ligand; and a graphene support in which the photocatalyst is supported non-covalently. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing the supported photocatalyst. The supported photocatalyst for hydrogen production according to the present invention comprises a metal photocatalyst complex supported in a graphene support non-covalently, and thus shows improved stability. The supported photocatalyst can perform electron transfer more rapidly and effectively through reduced graphene oxide, thereby improving a hydrogen production rate and increasing hydrogen production.
