The present invention relates to a cellulose decomposing activity of a Vibrio parahaemolyticus PCU1 strain isolated from reclaimed land soil. More specifically, the Vibrio parahaemolyticus PCU1 strain is isolated from saline soil, and a carboxymethyl cellulose decomposing ability of extracellular secreting cellulase is investigated according to the culturing time and substrate concentration in a culture medium in which the strain is inoculated. Therefore, the strain can be utilized for biorefinery regarding the production of a microbial formulation or bio-energy and for extracting raw ingredients from a tree.
