According to the present disclosure, a spectrometer including a metasurface may include at least one metasurface comprising a plurality of nanostructures arranged in two dimensions, and a surrounding body surrounding the plurality of nanostructures. The metasurface has an array of various nanostructures and is able to realize various optical element functions. The metasurface may be thinner in thickness and lighter in weight than a conventional optical element. According to the present disclosure, the spectrometer is able to have a sufficiently large length of light path relative to a thickness.
