Disclosed are a system and a method for real-time betting. The system for real-time betting is connected to at least one user terminal via a communication network, and comprises: a transceiving unit; a display; a storage unit; and a control unit to receive a real-time broadcast screen for a game in a streaming format via the transceiving unit, output the received real-time broadcast screen and a player arrangement on the display, store betting information for a selected player when a betting input for selecting the player is received by the outputted player arrangement, and pay a payout to a user based on a payout rate when a betting event matching the stored betting information is generated. According to the present invention, betting is allowed before and after a game to lively play the game and increase sales by continuous betting for an arena management side.
