The present invention relates to the increase of an enzyme activity of a methane oxygenase (sMMO) derived from Methylosinus trichosporium OB3b by using quantum mechanic and molecular dynamic techniques and partial mutation techniques. More specifically, the present invention relates to a methane oxygenase (sMMO) having an enzyme activity improved by finding a residue affecting an enzyme activity through screening based on quantum mechanics and molecular dynamics and by the mutation of the found residue; a nucleic acid molecule for coding the same; a vector including the nucleic acid molecule; a transformant including the vector; a mutant of the methane oxygenase (sMMO); and a method for producing modified methane oxygenase (sMMO).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
