The present invention provides a hybrid yarn for reinforcing a material of car components. In the hybrid yarn for reinforcing the material of car components according to the present invention, aramid fiber and thermoplastic fibers with a lower melting point than that of the aramid fiber are mixedly present therein, and the content of aramid fiber is 50 to 99 weight percent with respect to the total weight of hybrid yarn. According to the present invention, a method of manufacturing a material of car components comprises: (i) a step of using the hybrid yarn to manufacture a fiber sheet material for reinforcing a material for car components; (ii) a step of impregnating a polypropylene resin as a matrix resin into the fiber sheet material and thermally treating the same to manufacture prepreg; and (iii) a step of stacking the prepreg in a mold, and heating and pressing the stacked prepreg to mold the material for car components. According to the present invention, since the aramid fiber and a thermoplastic fiber with excellent heat resistance having excellent compatibility with the polypropylene resin as the matric resin are dispersed in the hybrid yarn, bonding force between the aramid fiber and the polypropylene resin (matrix resin) is largely increased when the prepreg and the material for car components are manufactured.
