Disclosed is a ladder device which can be used for life saving and which allows passengers in a ship to escape from the ship in an emergency situation. The disclosed ladder device comprises: a base fixed to a floor of the ship and having a plurality of first grooves; and an upper plate slidably mounted on the base along a longitudinal direction of the base and having a plurality of second grooves, wherein the plurality of first grooves and the plurality of second grooves are set to a first position where the first grooves and the second grooves are staggered with each other and a second position where the first grooves and the second grooves correspond to each other according to a sliding movement of the upper plate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
