The present invention provides a crystal orientation template for BaTiO_3 based lead-free piezoelectric ceramics expressed by the following chemical formula 1: Ba(Ti_(1-x)A_x)O_3, wherein A is Zr or Sn, and 0x1. The crystal orientation template for BaTiO_3 based lead-free piezoelectric ceramics according to the present invention employs zirconium or tin to be similar in composition to a mattress material for fabricating BaTiO_3 based lead-free piezoelectric ceramics, thereby minimizing the texture defects and fabricating BaTiO_3-based lead-free piezoelectric ceramics exhibiting high displacement characteristics through crystal orientation.
