The present invention relates to distilled liquor using Saccharomyces cerevisiae N9, having accession number KACC93234P, and to a preparation method thereof. A novel Saccharomyces cerevisiae N9 strain is separated from Korean yeast, and thus the strain has high acid resistance, alcohol resistance, and a rapid growth rate. The distilled liquor prepared using the strain has a different flavor from a flavor of conventional distilled liquor, and above-mentioned was confirmed. Therefore, the distilled liquor, using the Saccharomyces cerevisiae N9, and the preparation method thereof can be usefully used to manufacture unique Korean distilled liquor.
