The present invention provides a unit for finishing an upper side of an elevator door assembly, which includes: a base which is located between the elevator door assembly and a wall and is connected to the wall; and a cover plate which is combined with the base to cover a front side of the base, and a method for installing an elevator door assembly using the same. Accordingly, the present invention can easily finish a portion that is difficult to finish by bricklaying with the other methods when a gap between the elevator door assembly and the wall is finished.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
