The present disclosure relates to a communication technique and a system therefor for converging an IoT technology with a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate than a 4G system. The present disclosure can be applied to an intelligent service (for example, smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, healthcare, digital education, retail business, security and safety service, etc.) on the basis of a 5G communication technology and an IoT-related technology. A method for allocating resources of a terminal for inter-terminal communication according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a process of identifying a moving direction of the terminal; a process of selecting a resource pool mapped to the identified moving direction from among resource pools allocated for each moving direction; and a process of performing inter-terminal communication using the selected resource pool.
