The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition including pterostilbene 4-glucoside as an active ingredient for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases. It is confirmed that the pterostilbene 4-glucoside shows an excellent effect on the reduction of inflammatory cytokine induced by LPS stimulation by inducing the increase of the expression of hemoxigenase-1 (HO-1) or tristetraprolin (TTP). Accordingly, the composition including pterostilbene 4-glucoside as an active ingredient can be used as an effective therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases.
