The present invention relates to a memory device. The memory device includes: one or more memory arrays; a memory channel configured to receive a plurality of memory operations for the one or more memory arrays from a host computer; at least one queue configured to store the memory operations; and a scheduler configured to receive a power budget associated with at least on memory array from the host computer, determine at least one candidate memory operation in the at least one queue that satisfies the power budget for a time window, dynamically reorder the plurality of memory operations in the at least one queue, and generate rescheduled memory operations which satisfy the power budget for the time window.
