Disclosed is a weight balancing device for a cable robot. According to the present invention, tension applied to an upper cable of a cable robot is able to be reduced, and an area in which a work unit is able to move and be enlarged. To this end, the weight balancing device of the present invention connects the work unit and a separate counter mass with a weight balancing cable, and applies tension to the weight balancing cable by a load of the counter mass.
