Provided is a novel use of an alcohol extract of Taraxacum officinale. The novel use of the alcohol extract of Taraxacum officinale of the present invention offers advantages of treating, alleviating, and/or preventing endometriosis. The present invention additionally provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing endometriosis containing the alcohol extract of Taraxacum officinale as an active ingredient.
