The present invention relates to a cowl assembly of a vehicle for protecting pedestrians and improving NVH performance. According to the present invention, the cowl assembly of a vehicle for protecting pedestrians and improving NVH performance comprises a cowl top panel (100) and a cowl lower panel (200) and also comprises: a plurality of bolt holes (300) which are formed, in a widthwise direction of the vehicle, on the cowl top panel (100) and the cowl lower panel (200); bolts (400) and nuts (500) coupled to the bolt holes (300); and a wire (600) which is arranged in a zigzag manner between the bolt (40), coupled to an upper side of the cowl top panel (100), and the bolt (400), coupled to an upper side of the cowl lower panel (200) and applies tension force to the cowl top panel (100) and the cowl lower panel (200). According to the present invention, even without a reinforcement bracket, NVH performance can be improved (for example, reduction of booming noise caused by vibration of glass of a windshield) by connecting the cowl top panel and the cowl lower panel with the wire. In addition, when the vehicle collides with a pedestrian, the wire separates from the bolts as the cowl top panel is deformed. Therefore, the shape of the cowl assembly can be changed in an easy manner. Accordingly, the cowl assembly absorbs shock and thus can protect the pedestrian.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
