The present invention relates to a computing device and a method thereof for assisting diagnosis of a functional gastrointestinal disorder. The computing device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first calculation unit for analyzing muscle intensity for a diagnostic region and calculating rigidity information for the diagnostic region; a second calculation unit for calculating component information from bio-electrical information collected in the diagnostic region; and a processor for determining whether or not the diagnostic region is loaded on the basis of the calculated rigidity information and the calculated component information.
