The present invention relates to an apparatus for identifying the variety and origin of a Chinese cabbage. The apparatus for identifying the variety and origin of a Chinese cabbage according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a light emitting module which includes a circuit board and a light source installed on the circuit board; a diffusion unit which is arranged on the upper side of the light emitting module; a photographing unit for photographing an image; a storage unit which stores sample information; an image processing unit which extracts the entire image and a stem image, respectively; a calculation unit; and an identification unit which analyzes a similarity degree between information calculated by the calculation unit and the sample information stored in the storage unit and identifies the variety and origin according to an analysis result.
