The present invention relates to an emotion expression robot capable of showing a more familiar emotion to a user, specifically, a child or a woman who likes to charm things and who is familiar with emoticons by displaying emoticons on a display equipped in a face part of the emotion expression robot; and specifically, effectively used to counsel an autistic child. The emotion expression robot comprises: a face part; an eye display equipped on a front surface of the face part; a mouth display equipped on a lower front portion of the face part; and an emotion expression means including an input module wherein an emotion signal is inputted, a storage module wherein emoticon information corresponding to various emotion signals is stored, and a processing module configured to receive an emotion signal from the input module, receives emoticon information corresponding to the emotion signal from the storage module, and command the eye display and the mouth display to display emoticons.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
