The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating vascular inflammatory diseases comprising exendin-4 pegylated with polyethylene glycol derivatives as an active ingredient, and more specifically, to a composition for preventing or treating vascular inflammatory diseases comprising, as an active ingredient, exendin-4, in which cysteine amino acid is introduced at a C-end part. The cysteine amino acid is pegylated with polyethylene glycol derivatives and has a thiol group in a triple-branched structure. The composition of the present invention has a superior effect of controlling inflammation, thereby being usefully used for developing treatments of vascular inflammatory diseases.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
