Provided is a method for inducing direct transdifferentiation from somatic cells into hepatocytes, comprising the following steps: (a) introducing hepatocyte-specific transcription factors including Hnf1a, cMyc, and Klf4 into somatic cells so as to induce direct transdifferentiation (direct reprogramming) into hepatocytes; and (b) culturing the somatic cells into which the hepatocyte-specific transcription factors are introduced in a culture solution containing small molecular compounds and cytokines so as to directly transdifferentiate the somatic cells into hepatocytes. According to the present invention, the method for inducing direct transdifferentiation form somatic cells into hepatocytes using combination of small molecular compounds and hepatocyte-specific transcription factors enables induction of direct transdifferentiation into hepatocytes by composing single hepatocyte-specific transcription factor (Hnf1α) as well as transcription factors (cMyc/Klf4) capable of promoting transition from mesenchymal cells into endodermal cells and then introducing the same into somatic cells in mice.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
