The present invention relates to a method for controlling an automatic facility condition monitoring system (CMS). The method includes the steps of: collecting raw data from a programmable logic control (PLC) apparatus including multiple configuration elements for controlling a facility; comparing the input and output values for the multiple configuration elements in the raw data with reference values for the individual input and output values; outputting blueprint information, cause information and measure and action information corresponding to first input and output values, which exceed error levels of the reference values or are greater than the error levels, to an administrator terminal; outputting precautionary measure information and blueprint information corresponding to second input and output values, which exceed caution levels of the reference value or are greater than the caution levels, to the administrator terminal when sensing a pattern abnormality from a comparison between the pattern of the second input and output values and a normal pattern; and receiving an adjusted error level for the second input and output values in accordance with the precautionary measure information regarding the second input and output values and storing the adjusted error level to correspond to the second input and output values.
