The present invention relates to a method for degenerative stem cells to mesenchymal stem cells through single-cell culturing with a p38-inhibitor treatment. According to the present invention, the cells generated through a temporary p38-inhibitor treatment process in the process of differentiating mesenchymal stem cells from degenerative stem cells by using a direct differentiation scheme are checked to be mesenchymal stem cells by a property analysis including morphological properties, surface markers, and multi-differentiability. The cells have colony forming ability, differentiation functions, and especially the efficiency of differentiation into chondrocytes significantly higher than mesenchymal stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood. Accordingly, the method for differentiating the mesenchymal stem cells from degenerative stem cells can be used for development of mesenchymal stem cell lines with higher functionality.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
