A system for improving future reliability prediction of a measurement system by receiving operational and performance data, such as maintenance cost data, first principles data, asset reliability data, through an input interface associated with the measurable system. / RTI A number of category values are generated that classify maintenance cost data at specified intervals using maintenance criteria generated from one or more relative analysis models associated with the measurable system. The estimated future reliability of the measurable system is determined based on the asset reliability data and a number of category values and the results of future reliability are displayed on the output interface.
