摘要
A cubic boron nitride (CBN)-cemented carbide composite sintered body by hot isostatic low-pressure sintering, which is easy to sinter and is excellent in hardness and abrasion resistance, is obtained by enabling the use of binders including iron family metals, as partial hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) formation of CBN is allowed for a CBN sintered body used for tools or abrasion resistant materials. The CBN-cemented carbide composite sintered body may be obtained by mixing 1-75 vol% of CBN powder and 25-99 vol% of raw material powder of hard alloy consisting of a hard phase and a metal bond phase as a binder, and pressing and sintering the mixture in a temperature-pressure region where the hBN is stable. In this case, partial hBN formation of the CBN is tolerated to a certain amount, and the hardness of the sintered body is Hv 1000 or greater, which is harder than a hard alloy single body of the component. The hard phase is at least one of carbide, nitride, and boride of Group IVa, Va and VIa transition metals in the periodic table and a composite compound thereof; and the metal bond phase is at least one of iron, cobalt, and nickel.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
