The present invention relates to a method for correcting the reflectivity of a single polarized radar by using a dual polarized radar. The method for correcting the reflectivity of a single polarized radar by using a dual polarized radar according to the present invention comprises the steps of: acquiring reflectivity data observed in a single polarized radar and a dual polarized radar; correcting a reflectivity value for the acquired reflectivity data of the dual polarized radar; counting the number of samples of the reflectivity data of the single polarized radar existing on the same line at the same distance between the single polarized radar and the dual polarized radar; calculating a deviation by comparing the corrected reflectivity data of the dual polarized radar and the reflectivity data of the single polarized radar when the number of samples of the reflected reflectivity data is smaller than a predetermined reference number; and applying the calculated deviation to the reflectivity data of the single polarized radar and correcting the reflectivity data of the single polarized radar.
