The present invention relates to an optimal measuring instrument positioning method using a fractal function theory capable of performing safe and reasonable measurement from an initial stage by developing a prediction function for an unknown point using the fractal function theory to overcome limitations of existing one and two-dimensional measurement systems, and finding the most dangerous section in a planning stage using the function to select a position of a measuring instrument. The present invention includes a displacement amount prediction function with time variation, an unknown point displacement amount prediction function, and a displacement amount prediction function with time variation of a next step.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
