ANTI-CANCER COMPOSITION FOR OSTEOSARCOMA USING MIXED EXTRACT INCLUDING SAURURUS CHINENSIS AND SCUTELLARIA BAICALENSIS

In the present invention, disclosed is an anticancer composition for osteosarcoma using the extract of a mixture of Saururus chinensis, Scutellaria baicalensis, Prunella vulgaris, Lithospermum officinale, pericarp of Citrus nippokoreana, and Portulaca oleracea. The anticancer composition of the present invention, unlike pre-existing anticancer drugs based on apoptosis and inhibitory activities on cancer cells, works on cancer stem cells that cause resistance to anticancer drugs, and induces apoptosis thereof, and inhibits proliferation and metastasis thereof, thereby suppressing metastasis and relapse of cancer that have been the limit of pre-existing anticancer drugs, and thus has promising possibility of a fundamental treatment of cancer. Further, the anticancer composition shows no toxicity to normal cells, and has no noticeable effects on the proliferation of normal cells, and thus can have no side effects such as hair loss, nausea, and stomatitis that are typically caused by the toxicity that pre-existing anticancer drugs based on apoptosis activities on cancer cells have on normal cells.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
