The present invention relates to augmented reality technology. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a method for providing an augmented reality service which includes the steps of: obtaining direction information of a camera communicably connected to a terminal and geographical position information of the terminal; determining a search range to obtain basic information including a business name list based on the direction information and the geographical position information; and generating an augmented reality screen by matching a business name and additional information searched by the search range with an object recognized in an image acquired by the camera.
