Disclosed are an optical transmitter and a predistorter, which is connected to the front end of a laser diode of the optical transmitter. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the predistorter includes: a distribution unit which distributes radio frequency (RF) signals to first and second paths; a first diode block which includes a first Schottky diode and receives an RF signal in the first path to output linear first diode output signals; a second diode block which includes a second Schottky diode and receives an RF signal in the second path to output a non-linear second diode output signal for compensating for the nonlinearity of the laser diode; a second phase adjustment unit which receives the second diode output signal to output a second phase adjustment output signal generated by adjusting the phase of the second diode output signal; and a coupling unit which is connected to the front end of the laser diode and couples the first diode output signal and the second phase adjustment output signal to output a compensation output signal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
