The present invention relates to a ternary catalyst comprising a thin layer including Rh or Pd-Rh alloy as precious metal components and, more specifically, to a ternary catalyst comprising a thin layer consisting of a lower layer including platinum, palladium and rhodium components and an upper layer including Rh or Pd-Rh alloy as precious metal. Compared to a catalyst without a thin layer, the catalyst of the present invention shows results of improvement in THC, CO and NOx emission. Accordingly, performance of the ternary catalyst can be significantly improved if a part of precious metal is applied as a thin layer while using equivalent precious metal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
