The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for enhancing therapeutic effects on Alzheimer′s disease containing a white sandalwood extract. Administration of the white sandalwood extract and the Illicium verum Hook. f. dried fruit extract in conjunction with Aricept which is a major Alzheimer′s disease treatment agent has shown effectiveness in enhancement of therapeutic effects on Alzheimer′s disease and reduction in side effects caused by Aricept.
