The present invention relates to a primer set for discriminating vaccine and wild strains of Aujeszky′s disease virus, and a discrimination method using the same. Specifically, the present invention relates to a primer set which contains three types of primer sets for generating an amplification product having a particular size through a polymerase chain reaction by binding specifically to a genetic sequence present in the vaccine and wild strains, and thus can discriminate the vaccine and wild strains through formation of the amplification product; and a method of discriminating the vaccine and wild strains accurately and rapidly by using the primer set. The wild and vaccine strains of Aujeszky′s disease virus can be easily, accurately, and rapidly discriminated by using the primer set of the present invention. Particularly, the primer set of the present invention is capable of discriminating virus strains generated in China as well as various wild strains generated within Korea, and thus can be expected to be useful in handling the situation in a timely manner when viruses are introduced from China.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
