The present invention relates to viral-like particles of plant virus cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), and in particular to Th cell epitopes, particularly modified VLPs of CMV, including general purpose Th cell epitopes. In addition, these modified VLPs preferably serve as a vaccine platform for the generation of an immune response, particularly an antibody response, to an antigen linked to the modified VLPs. The presence of the Th cell epitope, particularly the universal Th cell epitope, resulted in an additional increase in the resulting immune response.
