The present invention relates to a novel P2X7R antagonist as a cancer metastasis inhibitor and functional activities thereof. The novel compound of the present invention has a strong controlling effect with respect to secretion of IL-1β and is effective in inhibiting invasion and migration of cancer cells. The compounds 12g, 13k and 17d, which are imidazole-based derivatives among the compounds of the present invention, show strong in vivo and in vitro antagonistic activities, thereby being developed as a novel cancer metastasis inhibition medicine.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
