摘要

An apparatus, method and thin film structure for generating a blackbody spectrum are disclosed. The first layer 302 of the device is configured to generate heat in response to the applied voltage. The second layer 306 is configured to emit a blackbody radiation spectrum in response to heat from the first layer. The heat spreading layer 304 is disposed between the first layer and the second layer. The heat spreading layer comprises a graphene sheet for reducing the spatial variation of heat in the plane of the heat spreading layer. The first layer may be a carbon nanotube layer.
