The present invention relates to a rubber foothold for a railroad platform of a subway and a construction method thereof, and more specifically, relates to a rubber foothold for a railroad platform of a subway and a construction method thereof, which are capable of constructing within a short period and preventing deterioration of a podium unit or an elevation unit after the installation by an improved structure. According to the present invention, the rubber foothold for a railroad platform of a subway is placed between a podium unit of the railroad platform of a subway and a subway train to prevent an accident, which may occur when a passenger gets on or off the subway train. According to the present invention, the rubber foothold for the railroad platform of a subway comprises: a plate-shaped rubber cover member which covers the whole side surface of a podium unit of the railroad platform of a subway; a foothold member among the cover member, which is combined with the entrance side of the subway train when the subway train stops and which comprises a plurality of rib plates which are vertically combined with the cover member; and a combination means which combines the cover member and the foothold member with the podium unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
