The present invention relates to a high calorific value biomass molded fuel and a method for manufacturing the same wherein the high calorific value biomass molded fuel is manufactured by using a final byproduct, residue, and biomass generated during a process for producing vegetable oil and can be used as fuel, a reducing agent, and a temperature increasing agent. More specifically, disclosed is a method for manufacturing functional high calorific value biomass molded fuel for a thermoelectric power plant and a steel mill, the biomass molded fuel which has a calorific value increased by approximately 4,000 kcal/kg from a low calorific value of an existing biomass molded fuel, has a high calorific value of 4,000-6,000 kcal/kg similar to charcoal, and has excellent combustibility. The method for manufacturing functional high calorific value biomass molded fuel for a thermoelectric power plant and a steel mill comprises: a step of grinding biomass; a vegetable oil byproduct supplying step of supplying vegetable oil byproducts after the step of grinding biomass; a step of heating and mixing the ground biomass and the vegetable oil byproducts after the vegetable oil byproduct supplying step; a step of drying and stabilizing the vegetable oil byproducts and the biomass after the heating and mixing step; and a step of compressing and molding the vegetable oil byproducts and the biomass after the drying and stabilizing step.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
