The present invention relates to a soft-hard combination based cooperative spectrum sensing method for cognitive radio networks. The present invention provides the spectrum sensing method in the cognitive radio networks, comprising the steps of: performing cluster decision based on appearance of a primary user (PU) using likelihood ratio test (LRT) based soft combination in each of cluster headers (CHs); and receiving the cluster decision from each of the cluster headers (CHs) from a fusion cluster (FU) forming a cluster and performing overall decision by using a weighted decision fusion rule based hard combination. The present invention uses a soft-hard fusion scheme in the cognitive radio networks, thereby enhancing the cooperative spectrum sensing performance.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
