The present invention relates to a negative electrode for secondary batteries, and a production method thereof. To this end, the negative electrode for secondary batteries comprises: a negative electrode collector; a primer layer formed on at least one side of the negative electrode collector, including a conductive carbon consisting of graphene and carbon nano tube (CNT) and a first binder for bonding the conductive carbon, collectors, and constituents of a negative electrode mixture layer together, and having the thickness of 0.3-2 m; and the negative electrode mixture layer positioned on the primer layer and containing a second binder for bonding gaps between the negative electrode active material and negative electrode active material particles. According to the present invention, it is possible to enhance overall performance of secondary batteries.
