Disclosed by the present invention is a system to compensate a latency difference caused by switchover in a front hole formed with ring topology. According to an aspect of the present invention, the system for compensating a latency difference caused by switchover in a front hole formed with ring topology comprises: a centralization node which is connected with a baseband unit group (BBU) concentrated in a central office; a plurality of distribution nodes which is connected with a plurality of remote radio heads (RRH) distributed in a remote place; a bilateral ring network which is formed to connect the centralization node with the plurality of distribution nodes and transmit and receive a wavelength division multiplexed optical signal between the centralization node and the plurality of distribution nodes; and a first-in first-out (FIFO) buffer which is formed to store electrical signals. In the provided system, each of the distribution nodes: divides the wavelength division multiplexed optical signal in a demultiplexing method; converts each of the divided optical signal and stores the converted signal in the FIFO buffer; reconverts each of the electrical signals stored in the FIFO buffer into an optical signal; and compensates a latency difference between before the latency and after the latency in the bidirectional ring network by controlling the size of the FIFO buffer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
