The present invention relates to a method for effectively extracting a large amount of physiologically active factors from a starfish′s ambulacral foot by damaging the ambulacral foot of starfish through a method such as cutting an ambulacral foot of starfish and the like. Physiologically active components derived from the ambulacral foot of starfish and extracted in large amount according to the present invention promote the synthesis of growth factors and/or human immunological factors of skin cells, regenerate human skin, and promote collagen synthesis.
