The present invention relates to a method for preparing an organic film using a zone cast process and an organic thin film transistor including the organic thin film prepared thereby. The method comprises: (a) a step of preparing a mixed solution including an organic semiconductor and a polymer with a molecular weight of 1-40 kDa; (b) a step of forming a coating layer by coating the mixed solution on a substrate by using a zone cast process; and (c) a step of drying the coating layer. According to the method of the present invention, the polymer insulator is added when the organic thin film is manufactured to reduce a content of the organic semiconductor, which is a high-priced material, thereby manufacturing the economical organic thin film with excellent electrical characteristics. The mixed solution in which the polymer insulator and the organic semiconductor are mixed at a certain ratio is coated on the substrate by a single zone case process to manufacture the organic thin film with a large area.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
