The present invention relates to a method to manufacture a small-size solar cell module capable of manufacturing the solar cell module of various shapes, such as circular, elliptical, polygonal shapes, etc.; and a small-size solar cell module thereof. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a first process (1) of inputting a solar cell of a desired shape in a laser cutting machine; a second process (2) of irradiating laser on a raw solar cell wafer along the shape of the solar cell inputted to the laser cutting machine to scribe the wafer so as to perform half-cutting; a third process (3) of completely cutting the half-cut solar cell to form a small-size solar cell; a surface mounting technology (SMT) process (4) of attaching the small-size solar cell on a printed circuit board (PCB) substrate; and a fifth process (5) of applying lamination on the small-size solar cell attached on the PCB substrate.
