The present invention relates to an aldehyde catalyst of a furan-based compound including a hydroxy group and a carbonyl group and, more specifically, to a catalyst for producing 2,5-diformylfuran (DFF) including precious metal nanoparticles in a spinel structure support, and to a method for producing DDF comprising oxidizing a furan-based compound including a hydroxy group and a carbonyl group in the presence of the catalyst including precious metal nanoparticles in a spinel structure support. According to the present invention, yield is much higher yield by an existing method for producing DDF; a process can be simplified through reactions in a single container; and reactions can be performed in the oxygen (O_2) pressure or air pressure conditions of low temperature and low pressure.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
