摘要

An object of the present invention is to provide a novel iridium complex which can be applied to an organic electroluminescent element, an organic electrochemiluminescent element, and the like and is thermally stable and excellent in sublimation property. An iridium complex characterized by being represented by the following general formula (1). (In the general formula (1), R 1 to R 11 , R 13 , R 14 and R 18 represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, a halogen atom or a cyano group. R 12 , R 15 to R 17 and R 19 each represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, a halogen atom or a cyano group. The alkyl group may be substituted with an aryl group, a halogen atom or a cyano group. alkyl group, may be substituted with a halogen atom or a cyano group. in addition, the adjacent R 12 ~ R 19, which are, in combination, each may form a condensed ring. m is an integer of 1 or 2, n is an integer of 1 or 2 , and m + n is 3.
