Provided is an economical method for manufacturing a timepiece display or hand-fitting components (1), wherein: with respect to each visible surface (2), a casing material, an amorphous metal alloy, a nanocrystalline alloy, or a gold and/or silver and/or copper and/or rhodium and/or titanium and/or aluminum alloy is chosen; from the casing material having an initial thickness (E) more than 50 micrometres, a thick and hollow blank (4) having the thickness (E) more than 20 micrometres is formed in a first tool (3), and with each visible surface (2), provided are an excessive thickness (5) and a first void (6) to accommodate a support structure (7); an internal material is chosen to form the support structure (7); the support structure (7) is formed to be coupled to the first void (6); and one visible surface (2) which is to be maintained to be visible is diamond tool machined, and all or a part of the excessive thickness (5) can be removed from the blank (4).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
