The present invention relates to a lock apparatus and a door lock having the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a lock apparatus, which is installable on both a left-hand door and a right-hand door without a separate process of disassembly or assembly to perform functions of a latch bolt and a dead bolt at the same time without a separate motor or a control circuit, and a door lock having the same. To this end, according to the present invention, the lock apparatus comprises: a cam assembly into which a key coupler of a lever is inserted to receive rotatory power from the key coupler which moves in accordance with the rotation of the lever; a slider assembly which converts the rotatory power of the cam assembly into a translational motion; an arm assembly which rotates by the translational motion of the slider assembly; and a holder assembly which has a structure, wherein a holder is fastened with a latch bolt/dead bolt to allow the holder to move in a rotary direction of the arm assembly and to make the latch bolt/dead bolt protrude from the outside or go into the inside.
