The present invention relates to a molecular marker for distinguishing an individual resistant to powdery mildew of watermelon and uses thereof and, more specifically, to an SNP marker composition and a primer set for distinguishing an individual resistant to powdery mildew of watermelon and a method for distinguishing an individual resistant to powdery mildew of watermelon using the same. The molecular marker resistant to powdery mildew of watermelon can confirm resistance instantly by extracting DNA of a young plant body or seeds without inoculating diseases directly when developing line and cultivar resistant to powdery mildew of watermelon derived from PI 189225.
